GARAGE ALBUMS YOU GOTTA HAVE...BOWL HEADS! - PSYCHOTIC REACTION BY THE COUNT FIVE

If you're goona own one garage album this summer, this is the one sister and brothers. But then again, its barely enough. Following their first earfull of The Stones Satisfaction, and realising their surfy reverb drip sound was for drips, San Joses The Squires downed strawberry shakes, made a fuzz pedal from loose wires found in their fathers tool box, put on Dracula kapes and headed by hearse to Double Shot Records to put plastic to this brief splash of milk bar disappointment. Barely not a Yardbirds song, but a number one they could not repeat. Turning there snotty noses up at a million dollars in bookings, the teens turned to school to avoid the draft; but for the brothers and sisters of knight, chidren of the sun, and THE INSECTS THAT ARE NOT ALIENS SURFING CLUB, the fuzz lingers...you're the best girl that i've ever had.
GARAGE ALBUMS YOU GOTTA HAVE...FREAKS! - FOREVER CHANGES BY LOVE

For THE INSECTS THAT ARE NOT ALIENS SURFING CLUB, its almost too much to take...and Arther Lee might have taken too much. A message of doom delivered by a young dude convinced of his coming demise by the end of the recording; Forever Changes is the delicate footsteps of a preschooler about to step into a sandpit which turns out to be a ditch which turns out to be a great dark void which turns out to be armageddon. Turns out Authur was just paranoid, technically schizophrenic as Cybil, and was never going to shed the veil of tears, rather be put in the slammer for twenty years for pointing a loaded weapon at family. The snot has caked against my paints...this is the time, this is the time, this is the time.
ROGERTHAT HIT THE DESERTS AND SWAMPS OF THE WEST COAST

THE INSECTS THAT ARE NOT ALIENS SURFING CLUB endorse ROGERTHAT - suburban psychedelia from the side streets and kiosks of Coolangatta. HEAR! the sights of the Gold Coasts creepiest hair men on the hell side of the nation on an occasion deserving of heightened awareness...prince of wales bunbury thurs sept 17th, settlers margaret river fri 18th, mojos fremantle sat 19th
